About me......

I have always had a passion for jewellery and started by making pieces using beads. After taking a foundation course in Art & Design, I went on to take a degree course in Jewellery & Metalwork at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College and graduated in 1999. I worked for several jewellery companies since graduating, including the Signet Group, but in 2009 I decided to start Mila Jewellery and work on my own designs.

All of my jewellery is handmade in my own workshop. I enjoy using a range of materials to create my pieces. Some of my pieces are experimental and these are sold as one off pieces mainly at shows and craft fairs, and sometimes in the galleries that exhibit my work.

I am registered with the London Assay Office and so all my pieces are hallmarked where appropriate and stamped with my makers mark.

All of my gemstones and materials are ethically sourced and come from trusted suppliers.

As well as my current collections I do also do a lot of commission work. From simple wedding bands and fingerprint jewellery, to melting down old jewellery to create a more wearable piece of jewellery to be enjoyed, whilst keeping the sentimental element

I am currently working on a range of memorial jewellery that can combine horsehair and ashes, so this will feature on here very soon.

I'm always happy to have a chat about your design ideas and possibilities so please do get in touch.
